Packing

So it's hard to believe that in just 8 days.. we'll be on a plane heading to China! Ahh, China! To meet our son! Can you believe it? I know that I can't! I guess we'll be driving ourselves to and from the airport. Phil said that he feels pretty comfortable driving home. Ah, just pray that we have energy to do so. I am quite thankful that we'll be traveling home during daylight hours. I believe we'll have to stop for some coffee on our way home. ;) Driving ourselves makes things a little easier. For one.. we'll be able to leave for the airport when it's most convenient for us. Also, when we touch down in in Newark we'll have to go through immigration and all that jazz.. which can take some time.

So for the past week or so.. I've been working on packing. Packing for China takes an eternity.. well at least it does for me. I plan to have the packing all wrapped up by Sunday..... maybe.

I cannot wait to see our son on the 23rd!! This will truly be a memorable Thanksgiving!
