Lost in a sea of paper

The past few weeks have been pretty intense for us! We have accepted a referral for a baby girl who is now 10 months old! My heart dropped when I saw photos of her for the first time. She's beautiful! After much thought, we have chosen to name Ella (which means light.) We will be able to share more details as soon as China gives us permission to do so. :) Our I-800a (Application for Determination of Suitability to Adopt a Child from a Convention Country) form needs to be sent out for an update soon.. I'm just waiting on our home study. I have also started working on our I-800 (Petition to Classify Convention Adoptee as an Immediate Relative) which needs to be sent out as soon as we receive word from China. Yes, we wait once more. We have an adoption fundraiser/raffle planned for the 23rd. So far, we've had a great response! We feel so blessed to have supportive friends and family! Well, back to the sea of papers!
