We'll be heading to Nashville, TN early Wednesday morning to attend the Christian Alliance for Orphans' Summit. We haven't been on a road trip in about three years. It will feel quite strange to travel so far without our children. Bennett and Ella will be in good hands though. Phil's mom will be watching the children Wednesday-Friday and then they will spend time with my mom until we arrive home late Saturday night. I'm looking forward to meeting up with Leslie, a lady that I connected with last year when we went on a missions trip together. Leslie's mom is allowing us to stay at her place while we're in TN. We feel super blessed to be able to attend the summit. We hope to soak in a lot of information to apply to our orphan care ministry at our home church. We also look forward to spending time together as a couple and just reconnecting. We also plan to stop in Knoxville to meet up with a family that we met in China while adopting Bennett. All in all it will be an awesome experience.
