A month as a family of four.

On Sunday (the 4th) we hit the one month mark of being a family of four. While Bennett is doing quite well, the past month has not been an easy one. While we were in China, Phil and I came down with a head cold. We soon found out that Ella also had a head cold (it was hard to hear her talk over Skype in China.) We knew that once we would get home that there was no doubt that Bennett would soon become sick with a head cold as well. About a week or two into being home, Ella got over her head cold.. but a few days after that, she came down with yet another head cold. So here we are.. a month later, and I am still surrounded by two sick toddlers. Sleep is always rough when you get home from being in a different country with a 13 hour time difference.. but add sickness upon that, and it is pure chaos! Even though Bennett is getting better at sleeping through the night, he still has coughing fits that wake him up. Also, he is not really napping like he should be. So you have a tired mom, and two tired sick little ones. I am just praying that they will heal and we'll be able to get on some sort of schedule. Oh, and that we'll have less dramatic melt downs between the two of them.

In other news, bot Bennett and Ella have an appointment at the Cleft Palate Clinic on the 13th. I am looking forward to hearing what the team has to say about Bennett's lip and Cleft repair that was done in China. His palate is still open.. so I am not sure what their game plan will be. Prayers are appreciated!
