In about two weeks we'll be on a plane heading for China! Our Consulate Appointment was confirmed this morning. We get to meet our son for the first time on November 23rd! It's amazing to see how this process seemed to be going so slow.. but yet everything happened so quickly. Does that make any sense? I cannot wait to meet our precious baby boy!!!! :)
So now I must work on a packing list and also work on getting stuff done around the house. Yesterday I spent most of my morning organizing and cleaning our house. I still have to work on painting Bennett's dresser and I need to buy the right screws to put his toddler bed back together. We're not even sure if he'll be okay with a toddler bed or not. I know that Ella co-slept with her foster mom. We may need to borrow a crib or something.. so safety purposes. Ah so much to do so little time!
I also wanted to update you on our Both Hands Project. We have two local companies supplying paint and we also have enough volunteers to get the task done! Yay! We're super excited about this project.
