5am wakeup and the Terracotta Warriors

So the past few nights we've had issues with sleep. Bennett however.. seems to have no issues with sleep. As a matter of fact, he sleeps like a true champ. That is.. until he is woken up by a collapsing crib.

This photo does not show that the mattress fell to the floor on an angle and Bennett was trapped in between. Luckily he was not harmed. I brought him into my bed (we have two double beds.. very 1950's tv show) and tried to get him to sleep a bit longer.. after all it was 5am. 

After our exciting morning.. our guide Sherry took us to see the Terracotta Warriors. Bennett does not appreciate such ancient artifacts.

It's amazing how much history China has. I am simply amazed by all of the things that they have been able to preserve so that generation after generation can experience seeing such amazing things. I know Bennett won't remember any of this.. but at least we'll have photos to show him. We do hope to bring our children back to China for a visit someday.
