A year ago today, we touched down in Philadelphia. We spent about 16 hours in the air. I still remember being greeted by Phil's family. I remember being relieved that we had finally made it (almost) home with our daughter. I remember the first time we placed Ella in a car seat (they do not use car seats in China.) I also remember the first time Ella met Alfie, walked around our house and saw her bedroom for the first time. I hope and pray that we never forget the day that we landed in the US as a family of three!
