Last night I started to feel a little under the weather. I woke up this morning with a sore itchy throat, and a runny nose. Oh yuck! I was sure that today would be a crummy day.. not only did I feel sick, but the rain was pouring down outside and I had to force myself to get ready for work. Work was pretty slow, so I ended up working in the warehouse doing packaging (which I was fine with.. it gave me time to relax a little and tend to my runny nose.) After my shift ended, I had a battle with "tourist" traffic but made it home safely. When I arrived home I ventured through the soggy grass to the mailbox.. and to my surprise we received our I-800 and our I-800a approval notice!! And to top off that excitement, we received a grant fro $1,000 from Families Outreach!! Praise the Lord!!!
As you may have noticed... adoption has many "steps" that one has to go through before they can head to their child's country and pick them up! Here are the next steps we are waiting for:
1. A letter from the NVC (National Visa Center)
2. Consulate approves DS230 form and sends approval (Article 5)
3. China issues TA (Travel Approval)
4. Family travels to China 2 1/2 to 4 weeks later!!
Praying that everything continues to move smoothly and that God will continue to provide the funds for travel! :)
