We had a total of 72 people at our spaghetti fundraiser a few weekends ago. We were able to raise over a thousand dollars for our dossier submission! Thank you so much for your prayers and your support!
Dossier updates:
April 24th: Dossier was sent to our agency in VA. Our fedex box weighed about 3lbs. Insane!!
April 25: We receive an email from our agency letting us know that the dossier was being reviewed!
April 27th: Our dossier is sent by fedex from our agency to China!!
Today: Our dossier is in Beijing China! It's not at its final destination yet.. but it should be by Wednesday!
This is an exciting step in the adoption process! Once our dossier has arrived at the China Center for Adoption Affairs (CCAA) it will spend about 6-8 weeks in the Translation Department. Once the translation is complete, the dossier will move through other departments in the CCAA.
What's the next step? We're waiting for our Log In Date (LID.) Our LID will help us to keep track of the process during the waiting stage. Referrals are matched by LID. Our agency will update us when they receive our LID.
