November 30th 2010- A journey begins.

We have chosen to adopt a baby girl from China. We don't know her name yet, where she will be born, what she will look like, if she will sleep through her first night in the world, or when we will embrace her in our arms.

China is known to be one of the most difficult countries to adopt from. In order to adopt from China, both parents must be 30 years of age. 30 couldn't come any sooner for me. I turned 30 on November 8th and we started the adoption process shortly after.

On November 30th, 2010 we were accepted into the China Program through America World Adoption Agency!

January 9th, 2011 we filled out the agreement forms. And now.... we're waiting for a Family Coordinator to be assigned to us!

We're so excited to see what God has in store for us. We look forward to the future. We look forward to meeting our little girl.
